Privacy Policy

DeepGrade is a small software and web studio based in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. When this policy says “we,” “us,” or “DeepGrade,” that’s who we mean. You can reach us any time at contact@deepgrade.ca.

Only what you choose to send us through the contact form: your name, email, the company or operation you run, what kind of operation it is, and, if you fill them in, your region and a short message. That’s it. We don’t ask for payment details, government IDs, or any sensitive personal information through this site, so please don’t send them in the message box.

To read your inquiry and reply to it, and to talk with you about whether we’re a fit to work together. Nothing else. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we will not add you to a marketing list or newsletter without asking you separately and getting a clear yes.

We keep things lean and use a few trusted services to run the site and reach you. They act on our behalf and only handle your data to provide their service:

• ›Supabase stores your inquiry in our database.
• ›Resenddelivers the email that notifies us you’ve been in touch.
• ›Vercel hosts and serves the website.

These providers may store or process data on servers in the United States, so by contacting us you understand your information may be handled outside Canada under the laws that apply there.

We don’t use advertising cookies or analytics that track you across the web. To see which pages are useful, we use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and privacy-friendly: it counts visits and page views without identifying you or following you to other sites. Our hosting and database providers may set strictly necessary cookies for security and performance.

We hold on to your inquiry for as long as we need it to follow up and keep reasonable business records. Ask us to delete it and we will, unless we’re required to keep it.

Under Canada’s PIPEDA you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent and have it deleted. Email contact@deepgrade.ca or call 1 (709) 787-0016, and a real person will handle it. If you think we’ve mishandled your data, you may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you send us. No website or service can promise perfect security, but we keep the data we hold to a minimum and treat it with care.

This site is meant for businesses and the people who run them. It isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
