Split the lay, reconciled to the cent.
This runs @deepgrade/crew-share, a pure, dependency-free engine for the share (lay) settlement, live in your browser on a synthetic snow-crab trip. Drag the stock, the boat split, and the running costs: the waterfall flows from gross stock down to each crew member’s share, every share is the member’s weighted slice of the pool allocated to the penny, and the shares always sum back to the pool. Push the costs past the stock and watch a bad trip go negative, cleanly.

Computed by @deepgrade/crew-sharein integer cents. Every share is the member’s weighted slice of the pool, allocated penny-exact so the shares always sum to the pool, every trip. The lay agreement (boat share, weights) is data. Advances net here; fisher EI/CPP/tax is an accountant-provided input, not computed by the demo. Synthetic trip, verify before real use.
Note: The boat, crew, and money are synthetic. Lay agreements vary by vessel (boat percentage, share weights, which expenses come off before vs after the split); the engine takes the agreement as data, never hard-coded. The point of the showcase is the shape of the work: trust-sensitive money math that reconciles to the cent in a tested package, not a spreadsheet that quietly drops a penny.
