Cut the signal and keep recording. Landings queue on the device, the list keeps reading from what the phone already holds, and the queue drains itself the moment you are back in range. Sync is idempotent, so a retry never books a landing twice.
Offline is a promise about the worst day, not the best one.
Every vendor in this category writes “works offline” on the box. What that usually means is that the app does not crash. Four things have to be true before it is worth anything to a person standing on a wharf in the rain.

There are no bars where the work is
The deck, the wharf, and the cold room are all dead spots, and that is exactly where a landing is born. Capture never waits for a connection.

The list still reads offline
A capture app that cannot show you this morning's landings while offline is only half an offline app. The list serves from the device and says how old it is.

Coming back in range is safe
The queue drains itself and sync is idempotent, so a retry after a dropped connection never books the same landing twice.

A refusal finds its way home
Sometimes the server says no after the phone said saved. That record does not vanish. It comes back to the person who took it, with the reason in plain words.
A landing captured here becomes the lot in GradeLine and the gross stock in Settle. Captured once, on the wharf, and never typed again.
